The Art of Plaid

I have a confession to make. I haven't worn plaid since the early 90's when I overdosed on a plaid flannel shirt at a Nirvana concert. My fashionable little sister gave me an adorable, classic, plaid flannel  for Christmas and I can't wait to wear it! My problem is, how do I pull it off without looking like I stepped off the set of Northern Exposure? My solution...glam it up! Plaid looks great with a little sparkle. I put a sexy sequin tank top under my plaid shirt along with dark skinny jeans and a great pair of heels. Add a little bling jewelry and, "hello hottie!" Pretty, preppy and punk!
